pBLooK™ is a remarkable blue light LED transilluminator (Fig. 1) for nucleic acid detection with non-UV excitation conditions, hence, no damage to your DNA fragments. The excitation wavelength of the device is 470 nm, the best excitation condition suitable for most of all commercial fluorescent DNA staining dye. The instrument was designed for a fast and visual platform to check the fluorescence of the DNA in the tube. User can observe the signal simultaneously through the amber filter on cover frame.
